INGREDIENTS
- ○ 1 fillet of chicken breast
- ○ 100 g yogurt
- ○ 1 cup of wheat flour for all uses
- ○ 1/2 cup semolina (moderate)
- ○ 1/2 cup corn starch
- ○ 3 tablespoons of blackcurrant
- ○ 3 medium potatoes
- ○ 1 teaspoon of sweet smoked paprika
- ○ 1 teaspoon of garlic oil or garlic powder
- ○ 1 teaspoon of powdered mustard
- ○ salt, pepper
- ○ oil for frying.
INSTRUCTIONS
Wash chicken fillet and cut it into small pieces. Put it in a bowl and add spices and yogurt. Mix well.
In a bag that closes airtight, put the flour, semolina, blackcurrant and the corn starch. Close the bag and dangle it to mix the materials.
Then take the pieces of chicken and place them in the bag. Close well and wiggle the bag so as a crust to be formed around of the chicken bites. (The same process can be done with a plastic food container as long as it closes very well).
In a deep saucepan or deep fryer, place plenty of oil, (up to about the middle of the pot), once it gets warm, put in the chicken bites to be fried.
For 3-4 minutes turn them over and over. Once golden, we remove them from the pan and place them on absorbent paper. Fry all chicken nuggets by the same way.
Wash the potatoes very well and cut them into very thin slices, using the mandolin. If you have the patience, do it by hand.
In a deep saucepan or deep fryer, put a lot of oil, (up to the middle of the saucepan), as soon as it gets warm, put in the potatoes. It is important to place in the deep fryer a small amount of potatoes each time, so as the temperature of the oil not to fall sharply and the potatoes to remain crisp, as well as to prevent the chips from sticking together.
Once ready, place them on absorbent paper the extra oil to be removed.
Serve with various sauces of your choice.They are perfectly combined with mustard and barbecue sauce.
