So that’s true… appearance plays a role in our food! As in everything, truth be told …Well I was bored of classic cheese pie and decide to twist it! … You’ll tell me that the content remains the same .. You may are right … What? It surely remains the same! But think that this is a classic taste that we all love and we all want to include in our diet quite often. It’s not bad to change it a little bit, even this change is only outside! So twist your cheese pie as well, and maybe you’ll see a different perspective !!!
In a bowl, place the egg with yogurt and plenty freshly grated pepper and mix well with a hand whisk. Grate the graviera and feta cheese and add them into the egg- yogurt mixture. Open the pastry sheet to a surface and cut horizontally into four equal strips. (I.e., cut so that the strips of dough to have their maximum possible length.) Spread 1/4 of the filling along each of the lanes. We close the dough by pressing it with fingers to unite the edges. Twirled strips forming a snail. Place on a baking tray covered with greaseproof paper. In a bowl, beat an egg with some water and brush the surface of the pies. Sprinkle with sesame and bake at 180ºC in air for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown.Individual Twisted Cheese Pies
